A Holistic, Integrated Treatment Approach

Creative Treatment Options meets all licensure and certification requirements outlined by the Behavioral Healthcare Administration (BHA) of the Colorado State Health Department. We utilize an intra-disciplinary, integrated (holistic) treatment approach in serving clients identified with mental health issues, adult substance abuse, chemical dependency, codependency, or dual diagnoses.

The agency provides evaluations and assessments, educational and therapeutic treatments, and community support services for referrals from mental health sources, judicial and municipal systems, county social service agencies, and community correctional settings. We also welcome self and private referrals from attorneys, therapists, and the 12-step community — currently serving referrals from 12 Colorado counties and from other states across the nation.

Individualized Treatment Plans

Our staff uses a variety of measurement and assessment instruments alongside a complete psychosocial and family-of-origin history and a face-to-face interview with each referral. Assessment findings are compared with data from the referring agency, court system, attorney, or private practitioner to determine the modality and therapeutic strategies that best facilitate each client's goals.

We review family history, employment and educational status, and the social, psychological, and physical domains of functioning — as well as pre-treatment readiness, motivation, and level of denial. Treatment plans are explored and modified on an ongoing basis as the client progresses.

Our Staff

Our clinical team includes professionals with a range of educational backgrounds and credentials — Bachelor's and Master's degrees in behavioral health-related fields, Certified Addiction Technicians (CAT), Certified Addiction Specialists (CAS), Licensed Professional Counselor Candidates (LPCC), and Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), along with other licensed or credentialed providers who meet Colorado's behavioral health standards.
