What Is Individual Therapy?
Individual therapy is a form of therapy in which the client is treated on a one-on-one basis with a therapist. The most popular form of therapy, individual therapy may encompass many different treatment styles including psychoanalysis and cognitive-behavioral therapy. The counselors at Creative Treatment Options utilize many forms of treatment. We prefer that the client is clean and sober while engaged in individual sessions because we find the best work is done while sober.
Who is it for? Our individual sessions are for adults aged 18 and over who want to explore deeper issues in their lives. This treatment is available to voluntary and involuntary clients.
Structure and format: Individual therapy is usually weekly or biweekly and therapy is self-directed by the client.
